Annapolis, we came back as we promised.

On Friday, Chou-chou and Fizey arrived in celebration of the big 3-0.  We spent most of Saturday in beautiful Annapolis, a place we've visited once before and loved!  See here.  Is was a bit cooler close to the water but the sunshine was bright and the town was abuzz with other visitors scoping out the boats and shops.

We walked along the harbor to get a glimpse of the boats as they whirred around the inlet to the bay, we waved at the ducks and watched the many passing naval officers in uniform walk by.  We took every minute to be outside in the sunshine, even if it was a little chilly, and ate outside at McGavery's where Gabriel could listen and watch all the delivery trucks, pick-up trucks, motorbikes, dogs and other noisy things as they broooommed by us.  And of course, we had to let Fizey stop for a mid-afternoon icecream.

The magnolias were out in full bloom along with the cherry blossoms and it was a beautiful sight to behold.  Annapolis, with your boats and uniforms, your brick streets and quiet little townhouses, you are certainly a pretty little city. We promised we'd come back and we did.  And you didn't disappoint!
