Cherry Blossoms, Courtyard Parties and the Harmonicas

So, unofficially, spring has hit Arlington.  The daffodils are in full bloom and, with the warmth on Sunday, so are the cherry blossoms.

With the sun out this past week, we are trying to take advantage of being outside around the house, which has resulted in a few impromptu courtyard parties with the neighborhood children.  And on Tuesday evening before supper, dad broke out his harmonica in the courtyard and entertained the kidlets.  It was definitely a hit.

Today we said farewell to Grammie and Grampie who are heading home after a lovely visit.  We feel so lucky to be within driving distance or short flying distance of the grandparents now and we are getting spoiled rotten to have so many visits, both this past week and the weeks following.

  1. It was very warm here on Sunday too - all of our snow melted. However, the tides turned today when we got a whole lot more and I got to drive to and from work in white-out conditions - FUN TIMES!! :(
