Happy Canada Day!!!! Felt a great swell of pride yesterday to celebrate being in this big beautiful country. Couldn't find a speck of red between us, but we did pull together a few "Canadian tuxedos" (sported here by Gabriel and myself -- not pictured). We biked around for several hours with the kids, hit up a water park just as it was closing and lastly a BBQ with a view of the fireworks all over the city. Kind of crazy, staying up with the littles until 11pm (!!) to watch them, but it was all good times with the cousins. It's so amazing to have our cousins' babies for our littles to play with. Nothing better, really!!
I really can't help but laugh at the outfit Maggie is sporting, complete with dinosaur and flag. This girl likes her dinosaurs and trucks. No dolls for this babe. And the littlest cousin (AKA Canky, AKA Cranky--who is not at all cranky) is just the most adorable little monkey in the making.
