How much do I LOVE this age!! Babies at eight months are all sweetness and drool and big belly giggles and bright eyes. They give big open-mouthed-sucky kisses and then they chuckle hysterically afterwards at their mischievousness. I don't know about your little one, but this girl loves to eat ANYTHING and shesleeps through the night (well, used to! We are working on it. Again). I feel like it doesn't take much to keep this girl happy. She just loves to watch the world go by, is happy to meet new people and get cuddles from me and anyone who will hold her. Life is pretty easy for this little lady, so long as her older brother isn't trying to body slam her, flip her on her tummy or try to pick her up and swing her around. (Sometimes he thinks she is a stuffed toy, I think). Goodness, this is going to be one tough chick, that's for sure.
And, she also just started crawling! Eeeee... Batten down the hatches! And is she ever happy to be on the move, even if she isn't too keen to get anywhere too fast. Here is a video clip:
