The AGO

Last weekend ChouChou and Fizey came to town for a short weekend with us.  It was not our typical week long visit but it is so much nicer having everyone closer that family can actually come by just for the weekend.

We checked out an exhibit at the Art Gallery of Ontario--a fantastic venue to be sure.   We loved it so much, we are considering getting memberships so we can keep going back, despite the fact that doing these things is starting to get a little more complicated.  The exhibits aren't behind glass like the Smithsonians so we are in constant "resistance training" while we view the art--by the end we all feel like we've had a workout AND seen some great art.

Gabriel doing his own art at the exhibit.

This building itself is a piece of art!

We had lunch in the beautiful, quiet Baldwin Village nearby before walking around admiring the beauty of the day.

And this is what Gabriel has been doing lately.  He is a hugger and a hand-holder.  He always reminds us it is time to say "Grace" by holding our hands and waiting excitedly for "A-men."  And occasionally he wants to hold my hand all through dinner and I can barely eat.   It's the most adorable thing.  And for the record, I am documenting it here right now so I don't forget.

Thank you ChouChou and Fizey for the wonderful weekend!
