She Walks!
Along with Maggie turning one, has been the big developmental milestone of taking her first steps. Can you believe it that Maggie took her first steps on exactly her first birthday? Sort of uncanny don't you think? Ok, maybe not. Unless you knew that she started crawling the very day she turned 8 months. The very day.
Here's a little clip we finally got of Maggie starting to walk. Exciting times! I think our lives are about to change all over again!
For me walking really marks the end of being a baby. And I have to
admit that while walking is really exciting, I am sad about this. That one year of sweet innocent
baby-ness, although it can be at times a little sleepless, is so very
precious. People tell you all the time that this time is so short. And let me tell
you, it really is! Sigh. The toddler years have started now and it
will be an exciting to watch her little personality emerge and develop with more words she learns and new connections she makes.
