Cottage Life Part 2 :)

One of the things that we enjoyed most about being up at the cottage over Labour Day weekend was seeing family and all the cousins!  We had a sort of impromptu family reunion dinner before we left and it was pretty great.  We ate delicious food--lobster, pork tenderloin, salad, and pie fresh from the local bakery and boy was it gooooodd! (As a side note, I'd like to mention that over the period of a week, we ate about a pie each.  Baby girl definitely grew a lot that week!)

I think we filled our bellies and hearts that week and maybe wore out the grandparents (see above).  As always, we are a whole lot of energy coming at ya!  And are only adding to that this January. Look out!

Molly's in town makes the BEST pies!!  And everything else from there is pretty spectacular as well.

The latest super-parents--our cousins Paul and Tara and their twin BOYS!!!  Yes.  They have their hands full, but they are amazing and their little boys are the most adorable, content little things you've ever met.  Gabriel loved them!

The gang!!  I think this got everyone.  In all the other pictures Gabriel has his mouth full of food or someone is missing.  But it's tough coordinating 13 people.

"Auntie Betsy" just might be a favorite!!

The sweetest moment when I walked into the other room and Tara was there feeding her little babe, singing away and talking to him.  Too cute!

And then he flaked out on me.  Out cold.  And wrapped his little arms and legs around my bump which made us all laugh and take pictures.  This is just the picture of comfort!

Meanwhile Fizey and Gabriel started up a bit of a dance party in the living room, drawing a crowd of both on-lookers and participants who stomped their feet along with Gabriel to the music.  Once again, Gabriel held the guitar and strummed away, slinging it like a real Mick Jagger.  We all chimed in as Fizey and ChouChou started up "I can't get no.... Satisfaction."  Mid/end-chorus, as if on cue, Gabriel strummed at the perfect moment which all sent us over the edge in fits of laughter.  His timing couldn't have been better.  I'm telling you, this kid has got rhythm, musical talent and a sense of stage presence.   He definitely shines in the limelight!  :)

And the annual cottage picture.  Happy Cottage Days!
