It started around the time that I found out I was pregnant, but Gabriel became completely intrigued by belly buttons. And one in particular--mine. He even recently started saying "Bel" which is his shortened version for belly button, which we know because he will lift up my shirt to find it. Or poke out his own belly and point with his finger repeating "bel." He's a pretty intuitive little man, our Gabriel. He knew. There is something in there, in that belly. And it's going to change our lives. We call our precious little one JanBug but for Gabriel it's "Bel."
