A Little Graduation for our Big Boy.

Just like that, a year has flown by!

I remember last summer calling the nursery school day after day after day checking their waitlist to see if there was any way to get Gabriel into the nursery school there.  I was in a panic!  With a (somewhat) newborn who needed a lot of attention and a two and half year old who needed even more, how were we possibly going to survive the year?!  Putting Gabriel in nursery school turned out to be one of the best decisions.

Not only did it give him a break from home life and me a break from being pulled in so many directions, but he made some fantastic friends, developed a much more extensive vocabulary and learned some of those basic skills he will need to get through school--like sitting still for more than 30 seconds and working with others.  He has come a long way from the child who ran around in circles the first couple of days to this new mature "big boy" who is able to articulate his needs and problem solve and write his own name!

And this is also thanks to some incredible teachers with many years of experience being mothers themselves as well as teachers.  Thank you for making school such a positive experience!
