Tea for Two.

You know when two kids just click.  It's a mother's dream.  They keep saying each others' names over and over.  They can't wait to see each other again (and you can't wait for them to see each other again either).  They don't even need toys, just each other and a big space to run around chasing each other and tumbling around in.  There are shrieks of laughter and giggles coming from the adjoining room while (finally) the two mothers are able to sit and talk rather than breaking up spats and redirecting.  It's just lovely.

This morning, we arranged a little tea party.  The kids were pretty excited to play tea especially when they got to have a little sip of the real thing too.  It was cute to watch them giggle and pretend sip from little tea cups with animals and dolls propped up in the other chairs beside them.  Looking forward to more parties in the garden as the weather gets nicer.

You know the day that you make the perfect cookie?  Today was one of those days.  These are peanut butter chocolate chip.  I used this recipe.

The only thing better than making a good friend in a 'new' city is when your children become good friends too, wouldn't you agree?
